The Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum presents the 5,000-year history of information and communication technologies in its permanent exhibition. This historical trip through time ranges from the origins of writing in Mesopotamia around 3,000 B.C. all the way to these technologies’ pervasion of man’s way of life in the 21st century. More than 2,000 objects bear testimony to this development.
